Maalox Plus Oral Suspension contains:
Aluminum Hydroxide and Magnesium Hydroxide which are antacids to reduce stomach acid which help relieve the symptoms of heartburn and indigestion.
Simeticone: To relieve the symptoms of excessive gas in the gastrointestinal tract, which causes burping, bloating and flatulence.
- Lemon flavour oral suspension.
- Reduces stomach acid.
- Relives heartburn, trapped wind and indigestion.
- Suitable for children, adults and the elderly.
- Also available in tablet form (not suitable for children under 2 years).
How to use
Adults including elderly persons:
Take one to two 5 ml spoonfuls 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime or as required.
Children under 5 years old:
Not more than one 5ml spoonful three times a day.
If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Ingredients
Equivalent of Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel 230 mg, Magnesium Hydroxide 200mg and Simeticone 25 mg in each 5 ml.
Also contains: Sorbitol, Domiphen Bromide, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Methylcellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Hydrogen Peroxide, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Sodium Saccharin, Sorbitol (E420), Carmellose Sodium, Lemon Flavour, Swiss Cream flavour and Water.
