Piriton Tablets contain chlorphenamine, which is an antihistamine that relieves symptoms such as itchiness, redness and swelling and is used for treating:
- Hay fever and other allergies such as pet and house dust mite allergies.
- Eczema and Skin allergies.
- Insect bites and stings.
- Allergic reactions to food, food additives or medicines.
- Chicken pox
How to use
The usual dose for allergies in adults and children aged 12 years and older is 4mg every 4 to 6 hours. Do not take more than 6 tablets (24mg) in 24 hours.
Hazards and Cautions
May cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.
Avoid alcoholic drink.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains 4mg of the active ingredient Chlorphenamine Maleate.
